Terms of Service
The short version.
- $39, one time, per Trail. Not happy for any reason? Full refund within 7 days, no questions asked.
- Your photos stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to build, host, and show your Trail.
- Only upload things you have the right to share, and nothing harmful or illegal.
- Your Trail stays up for as long as Trove runs. If we ever shut down, you'll get at least 30 days' notice.
These terms are an agreement between you and TCBB Creative Agency LLC, a Minnesota company ("TCBB," "we," "us"), covering Trove: the Trail builder, the Trails we host, and the guest photo and guestbook features. By buying a Trail, building one, or posting to one, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Trove
You must be at least 18 to buy a Trail. Guests must be at least 13 to post to a Trail, and guests under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission. If you use Trove for a business, you're agreeing to these terms on that business's behalf.
2. What you get
For a one-time payment of $39 (or whatever price is shown at checkout), you get one Trail. That includes an AI-drafted first version, the editing tools, hosting at a shareable link, guest uploads and guestbook, and the trailer videos we generate automatically. There's no subscription and nothing renews.
Some features rely on outside AI services and may occasionally be unavailable, slow, or need another try. We may improve, change, or retire individual features over time. We won't take away the Trail you paid for because of a change like that.
3. Refunds: our satisfaction guarantee
If you're not happy with your Trail for any reason, email aj@tcbbcreativeagency.com from the email you checked out with, within 7 days of purchase. We'll refund you in full, no questions asked. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. Once you're refunded, we may take that Trail offline.
Free Trails made with a 100%-off code have no charge to refund.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, audio, and text you upload ("your content"). You give TCBB a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process (including with the AI services described in our Privacy Policy), adapt, and display your content, only as needed to run Trove and your Trail. That includes making the draft, palette, music, narration, trailers, and the preview images that appear when your link is shared. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies that are already shared or that we're legally required to keep.
We won't use your content in our own marketing without asking you first.
Generated material. The text, palettes, music, narration, and trailer videos made for your Trail are yours to use for personal purposes, including sharing them anywhere. AI-generated material may not be unique, may contain mistakes, and might not be eligible for copyright protection. Read it over before you publish.
5. Your responsibilities
When you upload or post something, you're promising that:
- You own it, or you have permission to use it.
- The people pictured, or their parents or guardians, are okay with it being shared. This matters most for children.
- It doesn't break the law or anyone's rights.
Don't use Trove to post:
- Sexual content, or anything that sexualizes or endangers a minor
- Harassment, threats, hate, or content meant to embarrass or hurt someone
- Someone else's private information without their consent
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or privacy rights
- Malware, spam, or anything that tries to break, overload, or get around Trove's security
Trail owners are responsible for their Trail and for keeping an eye on the guest posts it gets. You can remove any guest photo, video, or note from the builder, or turn on review so nothing appears until you approve it. If you set a passcode, you're responsible for who you share it with.
6. Guests
If you post a photo, video, or note to someone else's Trail, you give both TCBB and that Trail's owner the same license described in section 4, so it can appear on the Trail. Your post appears with the name you entered, either right away or after the owner approves it, depending on how they've set up their Trail. The Trail owner can remove it at any time, and you can ask us to remove it by emailing us.
7. Removing content and suspending Trails
We can remove content, or take a Trail offline, if it breaks these terms, if the law requires it, or if it puts someone at risk. When it's practical, we'll let the owner know and explain why. We don't refund Trails taken down for serious violations.
Takedown requests. If something on a Trail infringes your copyright, shows you or your child without permission, or is otherwise harmful, email aj@tcbbcreativeagency.com. Include the Trail's link and tell us which content and why. We'll review it quickly.
8. Your account
You sign in with the email you used at checkout. Keep that email account secure, because anyone with access to it can sign in to your Trails. If you think someone else got in, use "Sign out everywhere" in the builder and email us.
9. How long Trails stay up
Your Trail stays online for as long as Trove operates, unless you ask us to delete it or it's removed under section 7. If we ever shut Trove down, we'll email Trail owners at least 30 days ahead so you can save what you want.
10. Business accounts
Planners, photographers, venues, and other businesses that run Trails for their clients through a Trove business account may have a separate agreement with TCBB. Where it conflicts with these terms, that agreement wins. Otherwise, these terms apply.
11. Disclaimers
We work hard to make Trove reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Trove will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. Your satisfaction guarantee in section 3 still applies.
12. Limit on liability
To the extent the law allows, TCBB's total liability for any claim relating to Trove is limited to the amount you paid us for the Trail involved. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or emotional distress. Keep your own copies of your original photos, because Trove isn't a backup service. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against TCBB because of content you uploaded or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover TCBB's reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Anoka County, Minnesota. Either of us may bring a small-claims case where it qualifies. Before filing anything, please email us first. Most problems get solved quickly that way.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and the next time you sign in you'll be asked to review and accept the new version before you keep building. If a change affects how we handle photos you've already uploaded, we'll also email you. The terms in effect when you bought your Trail govern that purchase, including the refund guarantee.
16. Everything else
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Trove.
